Proactive joint preservation and performance optimization for players who want to compete for decades. Advanced non-surgical strategies protect cartilage, enhance recovery, and extend time.

TENNIS INJURIES DON’T JUST HURT. THEY STEAL THE GAME YOU LOVE.

One injury and suddenly you’re watching from the sidelines. You try rest. You try ice. You search YouTube for answers. Nothing works.

Maybe you've seen a doctor and left with no real answers. Maybe you've avoided doctors altogether.

In any case, you're still not back on the court.

At Black Tie Orthopedics, Dr. Kang creates a personal strategy to get you back on the court without surgery and without giving up the game. This might mean manual therapy, a personalized exercise program, or regenerative injections like platelet rich plasma — whatever your injury actually needs.

No rushed visits. No long waits. Direct access to your surgeon.

THE BLACK TIE DIFFERENCE

The decade Extension

The Problem:

The standard insurance model treats 60-year-old tennis players like "aging patients." They are told to "take it easy," given a generic cortisone shot, and sent to a high-volume physical therapy clinic.

We treat you like a Professional Masters Athlete. We don't just manage your pain; we optimize your biomechanics and biology to extend your playing career by a decade or more.

"Because 'just getting older' isn't a diagnosis we accept. We specialize in the non-surgical preservation of the elite tennis life."

FEATURE STANDARD INSURANCE PRACTICE Black Tie Masters Longevity
Time with Doctor 10–15 Minutes 60–90 Minutes
The "Plan" "Stop playing for 6 weeks" "Here is how we keep you playing"
Communication Phone tag with a receptionist Direct text/call with your surgeon
Philosophy Reactive (Treat the pain) Proactive (Preserve the joint)
Context You are a "Patient" You are an "Athlete"

faqs

  • Do you accept insurance?

This is a concierge, direct pay practice. By working outside of insurance, we are able to spend more time with each patient, provide comprehensive evaluations, and focus on long term performance rather than short, volume driven visits. Many patients can still use HSA or FSA funds.

  • Is surgery your first recommendation?

No. Our approach is conservative and non surgical whenever possible. The goal is to diagnose the root cause of pain, optimize joint health, and keep you competing safely. If surgery is ever necessary, we will guide you to the right specialist, but it is not the starting point.

  • Is this only for competitive tennis players?

Not at all. We treat competitive juniors, adult league players, former athletes, and active professionals who want to stay strong and pain free. If tennis is part of your life and you want to protect your longevity on the court, this practice is designed for you.

Thank you for contacting Black Tie Orthopedics. Your request has been received and will be personally reviewed by our team. We look forward to connecting with you.
